My private investigation hobby focuses on researching individuals, organizations, and incidents through OSINT and CSINT tools, public records, authorized databases, source comparison, and careful documentation.

For complex cases, I may work with a team of people to connect timelines, verify identities, assess relevant location information from lawful sources, compare evidence, and understand how individuals or groups relate to an incident. The goal is to organize findings and report them to the appropriate authorities, not to publish private information or encourage harassment. This can include extortion-related research and other kinds of investigations, while keeping case details anonymized and sharing findings through appropriate reporting channels.

Notable case · 2023–2024. One anonymized investigation concerned two individuals using the aliases Kirby and Bird, who were reported to claim an affiliation with 764 under the alleged command of “Trippy” and to be close friends. The case also involved alleged harmful direct messages and a network of related online aliases. The basis of the work was correlating account history, publicly available or authorized records, reporting timelines, and other documented evidence to assess whether separate accounts were connected. I reported the findings anonymously to an appropriate authority and communicated with a person identifying as a Special Agent associated with the FBI’s Las Vegas Field Office. The contact initially used an email address at the @fbi.gov domain before communication later moved to SMS. Findings were kept private rather than publishing identities, locations, or sensitive material.

Additional case. Another anonymized investigation focused on a widely discussed threat actor associated with fraudulent law-enforcement-themed domains and accounts. The work combined OSINT and CSINT research with IntelX and other authorized databases, public domain records, account and alias correlation, archived reporting, and timeline analysis. We compared independent sources, documented recurring harassment, threats, and extortion-related claims, preserved relevant evidence, and built a structured case file for responsible reporting to the appropriate authorities. The investigation was intentionally kept at a high level because it involved an alleged threat actor and vulnerable victims and investigators. No credentials, private communications, malware or RAT details, unauthorized access methods, or identifying information are published.

Selected examples, not an exhaustive list. These two cases are representative of a broader body of research that is not practical to describe in full publicly. In general, the work combines OSINT and CSINT tools, IntelX and other databases, source comparison, account and domain correlation, timeline building, evidence preservation, and careful team coordination. Where appropriate, authorized communication and documented source engagement may help clarify context, but private identities, covert-access methods, and sensitive case material remain confidential. The objective is to identify patterns, protect potential victims, and provide organized findings to the appropriate authorities.

Scope & ethicsResearch is conducted only through lawful, authorized, and responsible methods. I do not publish private identities or operational details.
